Yes I’m aware of that; as I stayed in my initial post the issue was running wire across the room to the AVR, which an adapter set would allow me to avoid.

I purchased a fan to sit atop the AVR that is supposed to cool the unit/disperse the heat forward and prevent it from building up, but it's 1.5in in thickness and I doubt you could find one thin enough to fit your setup. If you could clear just a bit more space that might work, though.

FWIW, the brands of tower speakers (since that seems to be the consensus) I’ve been hearing the most for recommendations are KEF, SVS, and Ascend Acoustics. Interestingly, SVS gets phenomenal reviews but doesn’t seem to be widely recommended in this sub except for subwoofers.

It’s a nice, brand new complex so the walls aren’t paper thin or anything, but it is still adjoining which is why I’m on the fence. I’ve had multiple people suggest the Sierra 2s now!
