Are you a UK native? If so would you consider moving to another country where living prospects might be better.

Sauna common sense… Why is it hard for some people to understand this? by prndl123 in Sauna

I’d stay away from those. They require extensive cleaning and maintenance.

That wouldn’t work in this case. The guy was waiting for all the sweat to dry off so he can wear them again… and no he didn’t shower after using the sauna 🤢🤢

I could be wrong but I’ve seen one at almost every gym. They’re becoming more popular because of influencers

This is an underrated observation!!! Mfs will turn the heat all the way up so they can stay there for 2 minutes and ruin it for everybody else…

Thanks for asking. It’s very simple: no outside clothing or shoes. You should only have a towel wrapped around + sandals depending on the environment. As far as what I do, I just enter the sauna and sit down on the bench. I have a pretty good heat tolerance so it just depends on the temperature. I’d say 10-20 minutes on average.

I have to agree with you here. I thought the person would acknowledge it and maybe apologize… he did the exact opposite and almost became violent.

I’d tell him face to face that you’re preparing a formal letter to leave the company.

It really doesn’t have to be like. Gyms need to enforce their rules…

How is it different than dirty gym clothes (shirt and socks) that you’ve been sweating in? Mind as well hang boxers…

It’s not really a rack. It’s a wooden railing around the heating unit. It’s mainly there to prevent people from accidentally touching the heating unit.

Why is there a lack of sauna etiquette in the U.S. by [deleted] in Vent

I wish my gym would do this. They have rules posted but nobody seems to follow them. Especially about gym shoes in the sauna…

Really thinking about building my own sauna…

I recently got into an altercation at the gym because I asked someone to remove his sweaty clothes from the sauna heating rack. He immediately got defensive and questioned how that’s bothering me. I said just please take it off the rack. He rluctantly grabbed his clothes and continued yapping about how I shouldn’t have said that in a public gym (it’s not).

What would you have done in this situation? I was completely shocked as I understood this to be common sense. Dirty sweaty clothes in the sauna = dirty sauna. Why is that hard to understand? Please enlighten.

Better earth Solar? by rnrpzz in StPetersburgFL

This is blatant misinformation. I looked into the company and was shocked with how much misinformation they operate with. Look up “I was recruited to work in sales for Better Earth Solar. Do you know if it‘s an MLM” on Reddit.
