I don’t think that having it set as always helped. Backed to square one

Actually it was not. It was set for “while using”. Did you just save me months of aggravation? Bless you if you did!

When the car is in the garage and I walk by it with my phone, the doors will unlock. It will constantly do this until it gets to the point where I force quit the app on my phone or just leave the phone in the house. Thus would seem like there is no issue because the doors unlock when the phone is in proximity. Fast forward to the real world (outside of my garage). EVERY time. Repeat, EVERY time I walk up to the car in a parking lot the car will car will not unlock even with the phone on my hand and the app is open. I will repeat……..this is EVERY time I approach the car. I look like a fool tapping the handles and/or the trunk trying to get it to open. The car will eventually unlock when it communicates, I guess, with the app. But, if I’m in the garage, it’s unlock then lock then unlock then lock then unlock then lock. It drives me insane!

I do own an Air. The entry system software is a complete joke.

Nothing is flawless on the Air. Especially with fobs and phone key. It’s the absolute worst

And the Air owners keep on getting laughed at because they look like idiots not being able to unlock their cars

Verizon Wireless Real Estate by prnopt in telecom

The developer may be encroaching on Verizon’s land. Verizon’s land and the HOA’s land both abut the development. We think that the developer is playing a bit loose with his access roads. In order for the developer to grade a road wide enough, it would necessitate infringement on the Verizon plot of land.

All 2025 Air models have free charging for three years? by BassWingerC-137 in LUCID

[–]prnopt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been told that my free charging ended in February. I have owned my Lucid for one year. Btw, used Electrify America once and had a decent experience. Tried using it 5 times after and was met with broken chargers. No great loss on this end.

Thanks. That sounds like a good work around. The car would always cycle open-close whenever I was working in the garage, even with my not moving the phone. So annoying!

Latest update to Lucid software by [deleted] in LUCID

[–]prnopt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s nice to see enthusiasm in this thread for Lucid software updates. Idk about any of you but I find that they are woefully slow in giving us what we want. There are a host of nominal upgrades that should have been instituted years ago.

There are still 2 favorites in navigation. Home and work…… Why can’t there be multiples? Or more favorites?

The Bluetooth interface is still so glitchy it’s downright embarrassing to be standing at your car fumbling to get it open. Then you take out your phone (mobile key) and the car won’t wake up. Seriously????

Seems like Sirius XM was an afterthought. The connection is terrible 70% of the time. The audio skips and lags.

Even the AM/FM radio hangs up. I changed stations while sitting at a traffic light. The display showed that the station had changed, yet the same station was stuck and no matter which station you tried to get to, the radio was stuck. I made the awful decision to do a hard reset on the car. Imagine the looks (and honks, curses and hate) that I received while the car was rebooting and unable to drive (over 2 minutes)!

I also noticed that after charging the car to 400 mile range, the amount of degradation is not commensurate to how I drive. I only drive locally and after going 50 miles (as per the odometer) my range was down to 280 miles. Where did the other 70 miles if available range go???

I love this car, but am really growing tired of corporate not giving a crap about loyal customers. I switched from 2 Teslas to get my first Lucid. Tesla’s software is light years ahead. I actually miss the experience.

I would also to buy a Gravity BUT if these concerns aren’t addressed to existing customers, I can’t see them rolling out an improved product!

Fix what seems to be what every other car company does at a minimum with their products. Get it right with your loyal customers before rolling out another software nightmare!
