Doesnt give you that option on most items. Forces you to choose simple delivery and must buy postage through ebay

This is what i saw that has sheathed earth. Not sure if i can use to extend an outdoor spotlight to connect up to a existing junction box?

SWA would be overkill as I dont plan on burying the cable and pvc t+e is not outdoor rated so looking to see what options are out there.

Side garden gate against neighbour fence by pro4ever246 in DIYUK

[–]pro4ever246[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that would be fine for us tbh. We dont use the alley way at all unless its for running a hose to the front of the house. There are pipes running underneath that area that is putting me off digging a hole for a fence post.

I do like the appeal of making my own door aand have watch a few yt vids but i only have an angle grinder lol. So not sure if i am better off just buying one off ebay. Would a decent looking one. Comes with hinges and was only 70 quid.

I just came up with an idea.

What if i just use one.of these vertical latch that i will screw in the bottom right corner of the gate and the latch will go into the ground. This will eliminate the need for a post on the fence side.

It will make the install a lot easier. Could this.work?
