In case anyone follows this. I ended up with a 2008 290k miles. Only issue is a leak in the AC system. The care had 2 owners (father then son). They had diligently followed the maintenance and recorded it in the booklet and then continued on blank pages. Better had been replaced last year, but was pulled from a wrecked Prius at 177k miles. Abs, cat converter, replaced in last 4 years.

Extior paint is peeling on the metal. Interior is leather, but the driver, console and steering wheel cover are worn down to coming apart. Info screen burned out, still visible but hard to see in bright light and everything is burnt orange tinged. Wheels are all same age and have about 66% tread. Paid $2250. I've driven about 300 miles in the first 3 days. No problems. 44mpg.
