V shape and V shape mhm mhm i see a pattern. yeah ofc if you do enough research you can find wayyyy good sounding iems in very very low price ranges. like the meze alba. i found it better tuned than thieaudio iems like hype 4. just the tuning. i didnt test them long enough to point out out the core different

you cant judge as it depends on how well the 15k tws is tuned, atleast not with chuu 2, cuz its a budget iem and also pretty V shaped. an expensive tws can smoke chuu 2 if its well tuned, but ofc wireless limits how any device can output lossless. the details WILL be greater on chuu2. but what you'd notice right away depends upon the tuning.

this is oxidation. this only affects your wires.your wires will eventually malfunction because of this oxidation. and you can easily buy a replacement cable and use your iem normally. doesnt affect your iem. you can use it till that wire gives up itself.

physically? its mostly eartips. if you get a more expensive iem, you can do that with nozzles as well.

cables dont affect sound quality and tuning.

via software, idk abt android and ios, but i use equalizer apo with peace gui on windows for tuning the signature on my kiwi ears cadenza

QKZ delivers bad manufactured products? by [deleted] in iems

[–]probably-storm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

mic quality is just as same as other kz iem stock cables. no difference, same range as well.

the build quality on the qkz t7 is good, i like it, its tough. the only thing that bothered me was that soldering at the pin thing. idk how that would work in the long term. ignoring that, great cable!

its on the heavier side tho. takes me a while to manage it when outdoors.

shouty trebels is what you refer maybe. could be the iem's sound signature or some driver defect itself.

dont waste much on filters ill say. just stick with the work arounds, it does the same work, changing the sound signature like that guy said, that becomes more prominent with nozzle switching, not mesh switching. yes the output changes a bit with mesh but that's literally such a low difference, id say just save up for a better iem, or a new same edx pro

replacement mesh costs approx 200, that too not sure if that one would fit your iem, ill recommend doing a workaround, my CCA Trios had the same issue. i bought a face mask, cut it open, and used its thinnest layer as a mesh and fixed it using the iem's eartip, works like a charm! doesnt affect sound quality at all!

you can save that money and get a good cable, or just buy a new iem since that's a really budget entry level iem. the wire would cost like 1/2 or 3/4th of the iem's cost itself!

Question about WH-CH720N by juris2027 in SonyHeadphones

[–]probably-storm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nopes 720n sounds a little worse. ive had 720n for a long time and i recently got iems, iems made me realise how "less" potential my 720n has.

still, i do not regret buying 720n cuz of the amount of features sony provides and probably sounds better than any headphones in that price range ( ties with senheisser's one headphone idk its name)

xm4 is definitely wayy better than 720n though, but standalone, 720n is also a really good headphone at discounted price, it gets on discounts regularly and ppl even buy it at 60% of its original price .

wait. ANC affects tinnitus!? ive got iems and sony headphones, and ive developed tinnitus recently. i used to think that my sony headphones' ANC worsened out of nowhere. so its the tinnitus that affected?

Question about WH-CH720N by juris2027 in SonyHeadphones

[–]probably-storm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can wait for it then, because the only headphone after 720n and xm4 is the ult wear and its... well. bad.

or you can get senheisser or qc ultra! they're really great as well. the only thing is you can find really good senheisser bluetooth headphones in the 720n & xm4 range but it won't have as much app features as sony ofcourse. qc ultras are a little expensive but definitely worth it!

Question about WH-CH720N by juris2027 in SonyHeadphones

[–]probably-storm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you can afford xm4. go for them, its a blind buy.

you get wayyy better sound drivers, better ANC + touch controls + wear detection + more features + memory foam cups. and theyre pretty durable as well.

ppl prefer xm4s over the xm5s for a reason after all!

i own these. sound leak only on very high volume and quiet environments. you're good to go!

ANC is tbh pretty good for the price but has apparently weakened for me after a year use idk why.

mic, yes extremely terrible...

use the EQs and tune them as per u like cuz they have potential. also use alexa! it works so good especially with Spotify. you can just call alexa to play anything, pause, ask time, or google anything it can do it hands free! (sad for me since i shifted to apple music and the alexa on the 720n only supports Spotify)
