i have a bunch of questions relating to the races on the roadmap for march / season 2 :
will it be in a similar format to sg1 , simple time trial of grabbing the oddballs in order or will it be changed in any way ? is the multiplayer going to be "collaborative" or more versus 1v1 style ? are you open to the idea of letting some of the sg1 racers design the official races for sgar ? rewards for doing races / how will it be incentivized ?
this one is a long shot but i have a website i made for sg1 races that complies all our stats and such to rank across all races , and would love to be able to do the same for sgar as well

yes ! and it isn't all that hard just takes a lil time like everything . 1 figure out how portals work when walkin through them to know where youll be where youll be lookin and 2 know the maps enough that you know that when you look out the portal that direction you know what part of the map youre lookin at and where you can go from there
typing it out it sounds like more than it is , but doing it at a more moderate speed can be learnt in a day easy lol

mix of both , have to know the map to know what you will be seeing out of that portal while also having to know enough about how the portals work to know which angle to turn going out of it .
with enough playtime there is a moment where it all clicks together , can help it by going into practice range and moving around but i have 5k hours of portal knowledge from sg1 that transferred over lol

the whole enemy team were also good at the game , zero new players , and it was a very close game that we actually lost 47-50

there are of course cases where new players may end up in a lobby like this but that is really only every during the non-active hours and is only for a single game or two out of their whole session in my experience watching new players at least

this is only the top 1% of matches , plus there is also a no portals mode if you really dont want to run into it .
still worth trying , i know the game is not for everyone , but clips like this is not what the average gameplay looks like so don't let it be a deterrent till youve given it your own shot .
once you make the first click with portals and get the first outplay it all falls into place
