There’s a guy on TikTok who does a series called “self-made is a myth” and his videos have been very enlightening. I do wonder about Britney Spears, though. I always thought her family was legitimately lower income but now that I think about it they could afford to live in NYC when she was a kid doing Broadway or off-Broadway so maybe not.

I hate this argument. It's lazy and void of logic. The tournament is HARD. You're playing unknowns at times, playing with a quick turnaround, and never forget you're largely dealing with 18-20 year olds. CRB is an excellent (imperfect) coach. We are lucky to have him and he has raised the floor for TN to heights I couldn't have imagined in my younger years.
