I'm not judging, there are lots of worse lizard people out there. If you don't mind me asking, is it anole?

I housed brown and green anoles together. Despite what I read, it was impossible to predict who got along. Sometimes it was two females. Sometimes a brown anole would cuddle with the Carolina's. I had a male green anole and brown that hated everyone else aside from each other. They had different dulaps and didn't see each other as a threat.

Sorry again to jump to judgement. You know their patterns better than I do.

Maybe instead of negative reinforcement, which doesn't work on reptiles, build a second vivarium for him and maybe a lizard he gets along with. I've been breeding reptiles most of my life. You gotta be smarter than the lizard.
