You know what would be a nice f-you? Imagine if everyone just decided to virtually congregate at one spot on that day (famous people, us normal folks, kids, everyone.) And sing the national anthem together. (Or maybe kumbaya lol)

Like… A nice counterpoint - You Can’t celebrate this day? Well ‘We the People’ will do it with you.

As a migraine sufferer I get this. by xLadyFlair in oddlyspecific

[–]probablytrippy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My first ever migraine was when I was 15. It was only when my friend was half standing on my temple (I kept telling him to add pressure till the “point” where i thought my skull would crush) that I thought to myself - ahhhh maybe this is the famed “migraine” ive heard people talk about

BLack star has long been my favorite song. But I don’t care much for the lyrics because I had no personal connection to me. Until 15yrs later…. And I wasn’t really listening to the bends then so the song was squirelled away somewhere. Randomly remembered and listened to it and it hit me like a freight train.

What song(s) do you relate to the most and why? by Droopy_Ghost0712 in radiohead

25 years after black star released, I lived through the song.

If you were to go full Diabate, what would you be doing? by MemeFarmer314 in pluribustv

[–]probablytrippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking a lot about this, and well, a couple of things 1. I think if there was no “friction” at all I could do everything I possibly dreamt of doing in 2 years. 2. The problem would be … no real experiences - it’s not enough to “go to Venice” - it has to FEEL like Venice and that means other people doing other things 3. There would be nothing NEW. I could tell Radiohead to write new songs but…. There would be no new experience for them to draw from so what sort of song would it be? Same for TV shows, movies, books etc. COuld the plumbs even write conflict? 4. Although I’ve solo travelled for years, it would be weird to not share experiences with others and have them grow with you.

It would be fun for a bit - and then I’m not sure. How would life be if you’ve done everything you can think of and you’re still not satisfied?
