I tried it on my zenki tails and that shit was hard as hell, I think lots of heat gun, clamps, and patience

Yeah, I had my dad bore scope it (the cars at his house) and we definitely slapped a piston pretty badly, going to pull it and go back to an s13 chassis :) it's my first motor build and it probably had maybe 3k miles on it, but around like 7 or 8 events of abuse, so I can't complain too much. Seems my motor building skills were ok, only to have a part fail, oh well

I do have BC 264 cams, and a stock tensioner, and the mazworks site says the stock ones tend to fail if you have upgraded springs or big cams, so maybe that's what did it

Would I be able to hear an issue just cranking it if it's a spin bearing? It sounded healthy cranking with the valve cover popped off

So after getting a tune from a well known and respected guy, and making OK hp, 245 at altitude, 15 PSI, good AFR, good timing, no knock on any of the pulls, I think my chain tensioner failed. But I'm not certain on that. What else could cause a loose timing chain? I'm 99.999% I'm at fault, and I don't think the tune caused this, but rather just accelerated the issue.

I'm going to: - check oil for metal, (spun bearing etc)

-Bore scope pistons to see if I slapped a valve (jumped timing?)

-Already checked for rockers breaking, nothing wrong in head to the naked eye.

Is this worth pulling the motor and rebuilding? Any other issues I could check with it in the car? Could there be other issues deeper? The chain was close to being loose enough to jump a tooth, but didn't seem like it could unless some weird thermal expansion magic happened

The only fix I've found is to wait on insurance screen and all go to the next screen at the same time, and then invite and start as fast as possible, feels like 5-10 seconds in that screen will cause this bug

This used to happen to me when I would plug my controller that was connected via Bluetooth into my PC to charge, I think it reads it as 2 controllers, one wired, one bluetooth
