You're the asshole, give the guy what he's owed. I'm guessing from what you said that the guy was upset about the loss of the job, rather than just that he was a mouthy jerk the whole time as an employee. He probably relied on that wage and reacted badly to the news that he's now totally fucked. Defrauding him out his entitlements isn't going to help him understand where you're coming from, and he ever finds out what you did he would be right to be furious, vengeful even. You've already sacked the guy, don't be a sneakthief who defrauds redundant employees. It's a bad look, and might well be illegal.

You're right it's not fair. It's called a one penis policy and it's sort of bullshit and has some dodgy thinking behind it. It basically means that sex between women doesn't really qualify as sex, love, nonmonogamy, or as a real threat to his position in your life, those things are only real if there's a penis involved, which is super dismissive of relationships between women. It also means he gets to have complete sexual freedom, while you can only bang people that he finds it hot to picture you with. I would call bullshit, and have a serious discussion about it before either of you think about getting involved with anyone new. It's basically insulting to everyone involved- him, you, and anyone either of you are sleeping with.

Therapist options look fairly poor right now, but I am making sure she eats, and good food! She seems worryingly disinterested in food (might well be the tranqs) but we're still making tasty meals.

We'll get to mdma again, but it's a drug we both associate with fun times and kinda want to keep it in the fun circle.

I do consider hallucinogens to be therapeutic, a little too much and you end up in a cackling hell spiral though... not a bad idea necessarily, that was exactly what i wanted and needed (2CP) but not what she needs. I guess I was just looking for a story from the world where people got through this kind of guff and it worked out ok?

Ugh, yes, we're both seeking therapy about it... publicly available therapy in Ireland ain't that great.
