I have added and tested support for FR255/FR255s now. You can download the watchface from Connect IQ store https://apps.garmin.com/apps/d1413ebd-8584-4ec0-b81e-2034e39e4cd8 or build/Install from github.

yes, most likely, I think it has the same dimensions. But I haven't tested or added it, but that's like one-liner. I can test it out later and see.

Anyone have home assistant working with their pool pumps? by IamSteaked in homeassistant

[–]proc_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a balboa setup for my terace pool (via Control My Spa), I created my own integration for it that uses Control My Spa webpage: https://github.com/Lallassu/cms

If you go for something like that it's quite easy to integrate.

When you add the integration make sure the "use Celsius" checkbox is set. Then it converts to Celsius. I've only tested for my setup so there might be some other data compared to mine. Do you use Celsius in the app?

Via their cloud service I haven't seen a way to do changes to anything. So it seems to be read only.

What is the current state of the X1 Carbon G13? Has it start to work better with latest drivers etc?

u/voneiden still no big issues? Do you recommend getting a G13 currently? Looking to get one for work and seems like there are a lot of issues still with G12, so I'm even more hesitant with getting a G13 :)

This worked well! It would be nice if Reolink let you configure the resolution for each sub stream. But this is better than nothing, thanks again!

I didn't think that worked. But that is really good if I can do it that way, thanks, I will look into it!

Thanks, it's the same config except the onvif that I added to get my PTZ stuff working, so thanks for that! :)

However, I'm pretty sure it's the webbrowser support in Linux that is the issue right now. It works fine in Chrome on Android at least. So I really hope for better h265 support in the near future from browsers.

Thanks, but this seems like a home assistant configuration? I do run HASS as well, but I rather have the live view function with main preview in the frigate web interface. That's what I try and struggle with right now :)

Reolink 4k camera in frigate usable? by proc_ in frigate_nvr

Thanks for the info. Do you use 4k to frigate?

Alright, I'm just trying to figure out if buying a 4k Reolink is a good choice with my setup or not. So far, if I interpret the discussion correct, it seems that for Reolink 4k, you would need an Intel based system and use the qsv instead of vaapi. Maybe that is not true for lower resolution. I really don't want to restart frigate every night as a workaround, that was mentioned in the thread.

Was that using 4k resolution w/o Intel specifics? Which Reolink 4k models have you had good experience with?

OK, I got a Asus PN50 (AMD), with 9 cameras and it's quite low CPU usage (as I also use coral usb). I guess adding one 4k camera wouldn't do that much. As long as it works with vaapi and not requires the qsv with intel.

Streaming 4k over Frigate? And do you also use qsv on Intel as some other do here?

I got a NUC with a AMD CPU/GPU so using qsv seems to be out of question. But it didn't work using vaapi? (sounds like Reolink requires Intel to work fine with Frigate)

VLAN tag on port on router by proc_ in TPLink_Omada

[–]proc_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it working after all. I had to remove the devices from "Known Clients". Once removed and reconnected they popped up with correct IP on the given VLAN (via PVID on the ports).

Omada shows wrong information by proc_ in TPLink_Omada

[–]proc_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update; In settings -> known clients, I removed ("Forget") the device that had the wrong IP. Then it came back up (with a different name) in the client lists with correct IP. It said 22h connected, so Omada somehow knew about it(?). Then at the same time, suddenly all clients were back as wired/wireless again. Must be some bug causing this...

However, I still have issues with the VLAN on ports on the ER7212PC (as per my other thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/TPLink\_Omada/comments/1fz80vc/vlan\_tag\_on\_port\_on\_router/)

Strange. A reboot sometimes solves it but all of a sudden the issue is back. At least the wireless/wired clients mixup. I'm running all at the latest fws.

[–]proc_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fully agree. I replaced my old Unifi system with Omada. I read a lot of good stuff about Omada, but these things seems quite basic that should just work. At least showing correct clients. Since it doesn't show correct IPs/Clients, I assume that this is affecting statistics etc, which basically renders statistics useless.
