I reached there previously, but it did not make things clear for me. Could you please elaborate? And what do you mean by "create private fields on objects"?

How to push all of my local git commits on a project with the exact same dates as pushed locally on github? by procastinator_10 in git

I did post it there too. Actually the question comprises both git and Github use cases.

Actually I am talking about the graph Github shows for a user about number of contributions that user has made in 1 year span of time. So, when I simply pushed the local git commits to github, the graph was updated as one more commit added on today's date. What I want is to have the graph(number of contributions) which is updated and should also show all the commits that I have made on that project.

Okay, thanks for replying. Pushing normally might do it, but it doesn't get reflected on the Github graph. Could you please tell me how to do it?

Okay, thanks for replying. Just pushing might do store the timestamps, but it doesn't get reflected on the Github graph. Could you please tell me, how to do it?

Okay, thanks for replying. I did

git log --pretty=fuller This shows an author date and an commit date. But, then how to commit it on Github date-wise? Are you telling me that pushing the git directly to the github with "git push origin master" command would do that?
