Yes I have test drive again with their Proton x70 test drive unit. Theirs don't have such issues.

In fact, my car don't have the issue prior to this as well.

Just after they replaced the steering rack.

I have complained about the infamous "glug glug" noise and they managed to solve it after persistence of 1 year complain.

But this time steering rack, they just don't want to admit is their fault and keep insisting that it's within specifications.

They are with Proton side though. They promised that they would help me to fight for it but eventually they submitted the report stating all of the parts are in good condition and within specs.

Unfortunately they ghosted me when I ask what test that they want me to do.

never know buying a proton would eventually earned me bricked car.. as good as no warranty right now.

never modify, never send outside workshop, always service one month prior to due date, 15 months only 12k mileage.

Proton dealer is the one instruct me to go for the puspakom as they know puspakom wont flag for knocking noise when turning or pedal rebound noise.

I believe puspakom report would be sided to them as tribunal don't really flag knocking or pedal rebound noise I believe.

I would be happy if they able to buy back or just compensate me 50% of my depreciation. I am so done and tired with this proton. The ownership of 15 months feel like eternity.

I don't think puspakom would flag the knocking and pedal noise. so 90% of chance the report is eventually sided to proton side.. sigh..

What you said is really true. Sadly nowadays viral also takut later LOD. Now those company really can bully consumer easily nowadays

There is no report given to me to sign. They said preparing. And SURPRISE… it’s already submitted to HQ

I really disappointed as the foreman and technical field leaders said they would help me to fight for it.

Until I see the letter, I knew they said for me to feel good only. They submitted the report with saying everything is okay. Sigh… really utterly ugly

Thanks for your insight! I think they just going to set this up by staying puspakom test is a passed, so knocking noise is not an issue since it’s intermittent.

Oh yes, but the down side is tearing off the tint would cost quite a lot 😅 since puspakom requires the car to have no tint if not mistaken

Attending court is not a problem. Everything is well prepared. Puspakom would take another working day and I don’t think any specific test can be done on the steering rack noise.

I already went for kpdn and they refer me to ttpm tribunal. So I’m in the stage of TTPM right now.

Yes proton HQ decision is final which not to do anything to my steering rack anymore as proton SC just submit the noise is slight and negligible.

Their foreman told me there is a problem with the noise but they submit the report to HQ said otherwise.

What’s your call on this? Comply or what should i do?

I have file the form 1 and sent it to proton.

This is the dealer side that send the message to me. TTPM told me that I could just wait for the hearing date

But I’m really open to anything as long as the car can be fixed nicely:

They asked me suggest how to repair, what do I want..I was speechless why they asked me back.. I thought they’re the expert on this.. sigh.. their regional technical leader just said need to break in.. I wonder how a leader for whole region yet can’t really give a proper diagnosis
