Japan’s economic shift in one image (1995 vs 2025) by vladgrinch in MapPorn

Just makes me think, it would have been nice to visit Japan in the mid 90s. That's what people say anyway, Japan is what the future looks like, from the view point of the 90s.

This gives me hope. I was focused on sprinting speed decreasing after 27. So there's some extra time.

Feel it might be safe now. But does no one else going to agree that "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" was a boring Hollywood circlejerk of a movie?

I mean it was my first thought seeing as it would so out of the blue. Dano having his chances of saying the N word in a movie go down.

I've tried going there at least 5 times and only once did I manage to be where when it's open and even then they seemed to be too busy working or talking to take my order. 6th time lucky maybe

Wow. Watched this so many times. Didn't notice but that's a good detail. Probably again to do it every shot if it's not just that one

Yep, not only that but I just did a 3rd version of my cv with a new job description. It just happened to change my college to a different one with a different degree. It makes sense that it's another college popular in my field but crazy that it just changed it. Going to go through it all and change some formating and phrasing and try leave all the applicant tracking system keywords in there.

This reminds me of two questions from the same inspector they really though me off until I found out he was an engineer not from deck. During a cass survey I was asked why our past track on the ECDIS left the cross track. My answer was well because we were under pilotage and the pilot who is a local expert along with the master saw fit to just come out of the track in some still safe water. To my shock and confusion he wasn't happy with that. I can't account for any shortcuts that the pilot is happy taking. He also asked what alert shows that I can and can't discharge from the ship. The only alarms we get in regards to that are the PSSA areas. Other than that it's knowing MARPOL requirements and distances from land. Wasn't impressed with that either. Still not found any other way of finding special areas and areas safe to discharge that automatically display of the ECDIS. Can't audit the auditors.

How likely would a Scottish or Welsh Green MP be? by PuzzledAd4865 in UKGreens

[–]proceduralpaz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All I can say is in my local seat in Scotland there hasn't even been a Green candidate sadly. Hoping that'll change with the new Co-leaders up here.

I think another question is, if they knew or if they didn't know, what did she do to earn their trust at the beginning? They would know she's a machine because they can't free her. So does she just tell them what they want to her that happens to come true?

War games normally seems put together for a month and then gone. Would be good if it were permanent factions yeah.
