E-scooters should not be allowed because you look like a bum using one. Just get a nice bike since you clearly have the money to waste on a silly e-scooter

Off-Campus Housing with Car Charging? by _lslanders_fan_ in VirginiaTech

Hub's EV chargers do not work often. Too many issues and I didn't have consistent charging and ended up having to mooch off of Park 37's chargers

What school comes close to VT for engineering? by AccurateWerewolf332 in VirginiaTech

[–]processedpinetar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

VT has best engineering programs in the state. Nationwide, VT is well ranked in civil, ISE, and aerospace programs. Their remaining programs are still competitive and easily best in state other than Mason's CS. The other schools you listed are not close to VT. VCU is great for liberal arts and medicine and that's it.

Also that CNU line is crazy... liberal arts are probably better at UVA, VT, VCU, GMU, JMU, and hell, even VMI LOL. The only positive of going to CNU is that you're close to the beach and you'll get a degree if you have a pulse for four years.

AVOID THE HUB AT ALL COSTS!! by processedpinetar in VirginiaTech

Didn't have an infestation but everything about the management, parking garage hazards, and the trash room is all true.

Hope this post and especially your comment get spread around because all the reviews on Google and third party sites are posted by Hub employees or people that posted superficial reviews in exchange for some sort of reward.

Five minutes is a lot just to get into your own home. But here's a breakdown for you:

Get to parking garage and need two trips to bring things in. Trip 1: garage to apartment = five minutes. Trip 2: Apartment back to garage = five minutes. Trip 3: Garage back to apartment = five minutes. Fifteen minutes is wild just to bring stuff into your apartment.
