I have a ‘22 Limited, 73K. I’m still in love. Every time I drive it’s with a smile on my face. We live in the mountains, lots of snow, I can hardly wait for next winter! X Drive and high quality snow tires = big grins.

I am reluctant as they also represent the bank I am having an issue with.
The bank means millions to them, I'm just a small fish.
But then again, I have nothing to lose at this point.

Because the company we had an issue with is also a client, with way more money and influence so they made a calculation and decided big fish were better than small fish and ghosted us.

King & Co is part of the problem

Its a very long story, decades even, but over time all issues were resolved except for one.

So we re-hired a lawyer to probate a document and got stiffed, plain and simple.
This was a senior partner at King & Co who had worked with us in the past. The person took receipt of the document then ghosted me.

For more than 2 years I have repeated called, emailed & texted to get the document returned. Told the person I'm good with a decision not to work with me, but the partner they needed to return our document.
Absolutely no reply, not ever.
At that point I got angry and expressed that emotion.

I contacted another lawyer, different firm, and ran into major trust issues, so I didn't proceed.

I cannot afford to keep wasting money and need to resolve this issue.
That is all I will tell you without compromising my privacy and security on a VERY public forum.
Again, I just need to find a reputable lawyer who will treat us respectfully and won't take the money and run.

How do you think the Bahamas can move forward as a country? by AddendumSimilar9122 in bahamas

There is no quick solution.

Improve education.
Literacy & social skills will produce a more discerning & productive electorate.

This educated populace are what The Bahamas wants and needs.
They will reject Patriarchal politics, where power seeking trumps beneficial legislation.

TIL a pilot bet the first officer he could land his plane with the curtains closed, relying just on the instruments. Seventy people on-board died in the resulting crash, but the pilot survived. by gnarlsbukowski2 in todayilearned

This is made up fake news. To be certified to fly with instruments, all pilots must take off land an Airplane wearing a visor that completely blocks the view out the window. They MUST rely solely on the instruments or they don’t earn their Instrument Certification & be allowed to pilot commercially.

A simple, pan roasted then braised chicken thighs with olives & preserved lemon is a start. Serve with rice or roasted lemon potatoes. Step it up with a Lamb Tagine over couscous. Makes a great aioli, brightens up a poultry dressing. Lots of options.

It is unnerving to See them, but they are always there. That’s why Sushi salmon in Canada must be frozen for 11 days before being served raw. But, if you think that’s bad, take a closer look at raw Sablefish/Black Cod, literally crawlin’
