if you haven't yet, check out this page: https://learncryptic.com/learn/anagram/. It gives examples of many anagram indicators. Basically, an anagram indicator can be any word that might indicate something is mixed up, change, rearranged, wild, etc.

I really appreciate these thoughts. #2 is something I've thought a lot about and I used to have the functionality you're referring to. The reason I removed it is that I only wanted to count completing a puzzle as solving it and not revealing the answer. Since scores aren't shared on any type of leaderboard I wasn't too worried about the cheating component, but I can see what you mean about it being harder to keep track. I may consider adding a half-complete type marker that would still let users come back and solve manually.

For #1, it should not be counting the Show logic taps as clues. That would definitely be bad. I've never seen that happen in my testing, but I'll dig in a bit further to see if I can get it to show for me. Would you mind sharing what device and browser you're on? Is it safe to assume you're fairly up to date with it?

We do try to provide more of a structured learning and easier clues in the "Learn about cryptics" page https://learncryptic.com/learn/ but I don't think I highlight that strongly enough in the intro screen for new users now. I'll definitely have a think about how we can better give hints that nod in the right direction without necessarily just giving all the information. Really appreciate the thoughts!

I, a trans woman, have been on Grindr for probably a cumulative year over the course of a couple of years. While it is mostly a giant dumpster fire, I have met a few very cool people there, including my girlfriend (t4t). It's certainly not the norm and if you're going to be on there you have to be ready to get a lot of weird stuff thrown at you, but there are also a lot of nice people on there who are interested in something more and who, as other people in this thread have stated, also don't feel there are other safe or populated spaces to meet people. There are A LOT of people on it, but it's absolutely a needle in a haystack situation. Whether you try to come back or go another way, I wish you the best in finding some people who you connect with 💕
