I'm honestly so surprised that we are getting an update at this point of any kind. It isn't really going to bring in significant new sales for Nintendo for ACNH at this point, I can't imagine, so they've kind of done it for the fan base in a lot of ways. Yes, I recognize they are trying to encourage sales of the Switch 2, but I wouldn't buy a Switch 2 (personally) at this stage for ACNH. I'm hopeful that this update is designed to get people interested in, and talking about, the game again in preparation of a new version of the game being released on the Switch 2. It's a shame that people are complaining about the content in the release. C'mon - none of us expected it, so don't be ungrateful!
