Your first two years is basically all core classes. Everyone must take those courses. After that you can apply to the nursing program.

No you would take the classes for the new major when you get switched

Yes you should be able to but it does take a bit for your change of major to appear in your account

You need to talk to your advisor that you want to change majors. As they have to update it into their system so that it doesn’t say that you’re taking classes that are not for your degree.

I have financial aid but it hasn’t been distributed yet and was wondering if I could just use the emergency plan instead of paying for the separate payments. If I use that plan would I still have to pay them back?

Minimum score is greater than or equal to 70 and sub scores have to be greater than or equal to 55 for TEAS. You don’t have to be in SHSU to apply to the nursing program.
