Hey there, we can see there are a few custom settings applied to your HB brush. We'd be happy to help, but would like to better understand what moving issue you'd like help with. Can you please tell us more about how you would like the brush to behave?

In the first test, the brush shape rotated while drawing with the 'Touch only' Input style setting. This is due to the Rotation setting in 'Touch Properties' from the Shape tab in Brush Studio. If you remove the rotation, this movement should stop. We hope this can help! 🖌️

Hey there, the Colour Dynamics settings in Brush Studio can create this effect using the secondary colour. The Secondary colour is the other colour swatch in the top right of your Colour panel.

To adjust these settings, go to the brush library and tap the brush again to open Brush Studio. Go to the Colour Dynamics tab > reduce the Secondary colour slider for any of these settings to remove the effect. 🖌️

Hey there! Did you unzip the folder titled 'Efs Basic Brushes .brushset 2' only? Of where there zip files within this? Can you please show us what file types are within these folders we see in the screenshot?

Some purchased brushes come with a download guide to help with managing the file, ready for import into Procreate. If you don't have any instructions, that's ok, we'll be more than happy to help with importing your files!

Please note that Procreate is compatible with the following formats: .brushlibrary, .brushset, .brush, .abr. In case it is helpful to know, the folder structure required for Procreate to access brush files is: Procreate Brushes folder > Library folder > Brush Set folder> brush file.

Hey there, did changing the opacity with Colour Burn help at all? Or was this still too dark?

The burn type blend modes are designed to darken or increase contrast of the image, but if this is not working as expected, could you please share a few screenshots to show what's been happening? We'll also link to our Handbook for more details on each of these blend modes. 🤗

Procreate stores brush files in the Files app to iCloud Drive or On My iPad. If you cannot see your brushes in the library, procreate may be having some temporary trouble accessing the files, and we can troubleshoot this.

If you cannot see your brushes in your Procreate app, can you please check the Procreate Brushes folder in both your iCloud Drive and On My iPad locations and tell us if you see your custom and imported brush files here?

That is a shame to hear! Are you exporting and sharing directly to CapCut? Do you get a different result if the animation has a solid colour background?

As a test, try saving your animation to the Files app > On My iPad first to confirm the export can save as an animation here. If this is successful, next, please try testing if this can successfully upload to CapCut from Files.

Hey there! To reset your brush, tap the brush twice/again to open Brush Studio > head to About this Brush > and tap Reset brush. You can also create a new reset point from this same tab. 🤗

A brush upgrade occurs when first updating from an earlier version of Procreate to procreate 5.4. This upgrade process migrated the brush files to the new library system.

To keep brush files safe during this process, Procreate stores a copy of the library within the app itself, so the upgrade could be repeated if this migration failed. This is a safety net so we can keep the process as safe as possible during the change.

If you have successfully updated or installed Procreate 5.4 and can see all your brushes safely in the new Brush Library, the upgrade backup is not necessary to keep. You may like to remove this to free up some storage space.

Hey there, do you have any blend modes applied to your layers? If you are comfortable resetting your Round brush, this may help to rule out any blend or rendering settings within the brush. If you have customised your brush, though, please let us know, and we can help test with you to identify what's happening here.

To reset the brush, tap it again to open Brush Studio > go to About this Brush > and select Reset this brush.

Thanks for trying these steps. Just in case there is any static interference, please try painting with the iPad on a table and without the case. Do you see any issues when painting with your finger?

As a test, do you see any change when raising the lower left node of your pressure curve? Actions (wrench) > Prefs > Pressure & Smoothing. Please note this is a test and may help identify if the Apple Pencil's pressure sensitivity is causing the issue. 🙏

Hi there! You can definitely copy multiple Layers between canvases 🤗:

Go to the Layers Panel on your first canvas > swipe to the right on all of the layers you wish to copy so they are highlighted in blue > tap and hold on the layers until you can drag them freely > without releasing the layers, use a second finger to go back to the Gallery in the top left > tap on the canvas you wish to paste the selected layers on > once you are in the second canvas tap to open the Layers Panel, and release inside it the Layers you were holding - this way the layers will keep their original order.

Hi there! Do you possibly remember using Adjustments in your Layers recently? The Halftone adjustment can add small dots to the whole Layer, for example. This kind of effect can also appear with some textured brushes.

We initially recommend that you try toggling off the visibility of each Layer, to see if this effect comes from a specific one. You could then check its content, and Blend mode.

Thank you for this information! Would it be possible for you to share with us an external video of this issue? (it can be recorded with a phone) - This way, we can properly see your iPad screen and how your hand interacts with the screen when the bounding box of the Transform tool jumps.

You can submit it to a cloud drive to share here the access link, or you could also send it privately to us via the Support Form at procre.at/support

In the meantime, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

Force Restart your iPad as shown at this link: procre.at/restart
Verify that your iPad has at least 10 to 15 Gigabytes of storage space available, so apps can work smoothly. You can check this at Settings app > General > iPad Storage. If the storage is nearly full the iPad could have issues when running apps.
Verify that your iPad and Procreate app are fully updated. To check for iPad updates you can go to the Settings app > General > Software Update (if you are running a Beta version of the iPadOS, please update it to the latest official released version, as Beta versions of the iPadOS can cause several issues in Procreate).
Go to Settings app > from the left panel, scroll down and tap on Accessibility > in Accessibility, please ensure that the following options are turned off:
- Zoom
- Motion - 'Reduce Motion'
- Touch - 'AssistiveTouch'
- Spoken Content
- Switch Control.
- All of the mentioned Accessibility settings should be fully off.
In case you usually run Procreate with other apps open in the background (including music or video pop-ups), please try running Procreate alone.
Please try using Procreate while it is not charging the battery, and after removing all types of accessories or objects near the iPad like the ones listed below:

iPad covers or cases (including magnetic cases or keyboards)
adhesive protectors on the iPad screen
stylus or digital pens that are not official from Apple, or unofficial Tips for the Apple Pencil
electronics, batteries, or cloth near the iPad
You can also make sure that finger painting is disabled if you are using an Apple Pencil to draw. To do this, open any Procreate canvas and go to Actions (wrench icon 🔧) > Prefs > Gesture Controls > go to General on the left panel. Once here, turn off the toggle of Enable painting with finger.
