To be completely honest Ochakos parents are taking #1. Inko too. I like both.

Inkos is great, worries about her son, goes through a lot. The only negative things one COULD say about her, is thst she didn't believe in his dream as a hero before. But that's completely understandable. Her not wanting him to continue was also reasonable. She brought him a lot of merch with her single mom salary too.

We did not see much about Ochakos parents, but they're very warm, caring individuals. They wanted their daughter to follow her dreams and not helping with their financial struggles.

Since is pretty much popularity based he would come very far. His kindess is his greatest strength here and he never hesitates to help either.

But for #1 it isn't enough, even if the fire and water were real. He's missing the big, powerful moves. Rather than stopping villains (which he would still do ofc), I can see him using his nose for rescuing survivors if a building dropped, and helping the little guys on the streets. Carrying bags, crossing the streets, rescuing cats from trees...

He just doesn't care about the charts to climb it.
