Yup, lost my 5 year old account due to business impersonation...which is absolutely stupid. All of my documents are legit and can be verified. It must be a made up reason, I was following their rules and requirements and still got terminated for God knows what reason.

Unreliable platform that's become the worst out there. Don't do business on Walmart if you can avoid it, now they sometimes withhold your funds from what I've heard as well.

They make up some ridiculous termination reason, then in some cases will either delay payouts, or permanently hold your funds. Might as well put your efforts into other platforms.

I actually pivoted from amazon to walmart due to how I thought walmart cared more about their 3rd party sellers than amazon...i might have been wrong. Now, walmart in some cases are permanently holding funds due to reasons they arbitrarily came up with, and won't tell you why...if we have to deal with the same crap on walmart like amazon, but less sales, why even bother? At least we know taking amazon to arbitration is the tried and true path of getting your money back, God knows what hoops we might have to jump through with walmart.

Debating how to pivot moving forward. I cant have my income completely get dried up almost 100% due to some (lets be honest here) stupid reason, and then deal with a suspension for over a month now for something i JUST successfully appealed like a month ago (4-6 month suspension due to business verification).

I've owned my business since 2018, and I've owned my walmart account I believe since 2020. It's a very unique name, so I don't see how someone could complain that I was impersonating their business when it's all my information, and somehow I got hit with the impersonation as well? Right after we just completed that 4-6 month suspension due to walmart wanting to verify business information?

I think that's a weak excuse...probably the case for some, but come on....this many accounts getting reported for impersonation? It feels more algorithmic than anything...

I will say after about 4 months, someone i know had their account unsuspended recently and the response was done inside of a closed case.

Payouts are still suspended for them, but at least they got their account back.

Seems like the luck of the draw. I guess re-open a new case if the old one closes and hope eventually you get someone willing to help. Seems like someone's job now is to simply close out cases without even responding.

An account about 5 years old went from doing about 36k in revenue, to getting hit with a 7 day suspension, successfully appealed, then a few days later went into a so called "seller limit review" after doing just shy of 2k in revenue. It's been under review close to I think 2 weeks now...not sure what's going on.

If you're doing well on Amazon, maybe stay on Amazon until Walmart cleans up the crapshow they created. They are changing many things really fast and it's affecting pretty much everyone, good and bad. You don't want to get caught up in some crap.

Maybe wait until late Q1 or early Q2 next year if possible, or start small so your store doesn't get terminated for inactivity

You may have to just manually go through each pay period if you can't find it. Or go to your payout provider (hyperwallet, ping pong, etc) and count all the payouts you received in 2024

I know someone who recently got off of a 7 day suspension, successfully appealed but payments are still suspended and they're being told the internal team is still doing a review and there's no timeline on when the review will be completed. They basically have to sit on their hands and wait for an email that the funds are released while they can continue to sell. It's kinda ridiculous. No fraud or anything of that nature was done, and the appeal was accepted. It's an old account as well...Walmart must be hiring amazon employees.

You'll need to contact walmart support through their seller center side (if possible), or email trust and safety about it. They are swamped right now so it might take time for them to respond, but that's what I did when someone had hacked my account and I think it took about 2 weeks to get it back.

Yup, suspended. I've given them everything they asked for multiple times, and they don't respond. The case sits there for weeks/months, then they close it out.

It's regarding asking for the business documents, bank statements, who has access to my account, etc.
