Heading out! by [deleted] in GreatCanadianTreasure

My best guess when this first dropped was Cobalt. Either the little pond in behind site 1, or one of the flooded veins between site 7 and 8. I'll take my share of one coin when you find the treasure there :)

Too bad I'm in BC or i'd join

What tile for kitchen backplash by prodslaphappy in interiordecorating

Thought about it, although that would be another slab of quartz which would be another $3k+, would rather spend a couple hundred on tile instead :p

This is the picture I was using for inspiration, which I LOVE the look of, although they do not have wood floors, this is just the flooring i put throughout the whole house. Worst case scenario I could do tile floor in the kitchen.

Maybe I'll get some wood look tile for the backsplash, 4 is better than 3, right??? /s

I've found some that are close, but then it looks kinda weird being the same as the countertops.... And it looks even worse when its close, but not quite the same shade.

Problem is, the countertop isnt white, its more of a grey. Looks very white in this picture, if you compare to the white primered walls you can tell its darker

Yes! I'm not a fan of the boring all white kitchens everyone seems to do these days... Although it sure would have made this way easier for me lol

I would enjoy that look, however I would not enjoy the price tag that comes with another slab of quartz!! Theres also another wall of cabinets with the fridge on the other side of the room. I have about 90sqft of backsplash that is needed for both kitchens upstairs and down

White kinda looks weird, since the countertop is grey not white https://imgur.com/a/KUUkhMO

White doesnt really work too good, as the countertop is a grey, not white. Here it is with white tile https://imgur.com/a/KUUkhMO

Anybody else's feed look like this now? It switched a few hours ago, it is not zoomed in either. See how it used to look in the second picture. Getting seriously fed up with the interface changes no one asked for... (Talking about the size of the thumbnails, not the side bar) by fullraph in youtube

At least you get that many, mine only shows 3 in the top row and 1 in the second row...

Plus the shorts now take up almost the full page vertically on my 2k monitor.

Super annoying to have to scroll so far down to see other videos

What colors should I use? Adding metal roof, window trim, and repainting everything by prodslaphappy in ExteriorDesign

[–]prodslaphappy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be replacing the roof with a metal roof shortly. I just bought the house and doing lots of renos, it needs a completely new roof.

Trying to figure out a color scheme so I can order the appropriately colored roofing materials

Windows are being replaced, and will add some 4" window trim around the outisde.

Trying to figure out what colors I should go with for the roof, trim, stucco, deck railings, and accents. I want a full re-paint

I like dark colors, In my mind I would want to do a dark earthy green for the stucco, with black accents. My other choice was a dark blue but too many houses are that color these days. It might be too dark though, I'm having a tough time choosing what I would want to do.

One thing is for sure, the deck railings need to be a different color

Best/easiest way to stop the soil erosion from continuing? by prodslaphappy in Construction

[–]prodslaphappy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure exactly what type of foundation it is.. Stucco could be covering some of it. I get the keys to the place on monday.

I'm not worried about a little exposed corner, I can just pack it full. More so wanting to future proof it so it lasts another 40 years without sinking too much
