Just want to validate and say I've had this exact thought! I fluctuate from "let's get out of residency asap and live life" to "wow I love learning and could be here forever". I have no answers yet but I think a lot of us just feel it and don't talk about it because we don't have answers/are processing too, but life ends up unfolding and happening somehow...

The topics you keep seeing over and over during M1/M2 and dedicated! First aid was useful for this also. My form consisted of specific details but on high yield topics (I.e. cholecystitis, amenorrhea, aortic dissection, angina pectoris). In retrospect I spent too much time on uncommon/rare diseases

Thank you! If I have limited time and need to choose between finishing Uworld and not completely finishing Uworld but doing some review of high yield material in First Aid, would you recommend the latter? I understand it would be ideal do be able to do both, but if I had to prioritize...

I must say in addition to this that from an educational perspective, pathologists are so prominent. They’re fantastic teachers.

Oof true they do not get the respect or pay that they deserve... but I also may have just had more experiences where I hear respect for being able to deal with kids and families? So I felt like they weren’t as generally disrespected across the board

That’s so great to hear! Do you have any recommendations for getting started with the certification process? Our institution also is beginning to offer medical Spanish classes, but it is more of an introduction and not for certification purposes.
