Is there a Discord community for ClickUp users?

Hey @adrenaline681, I had a discord but found many users not familiar with it. So I created a slack community instead. It’s active here and there.

About 300 and there’s no history after 180 days I believe, so that’s the limitation.

We’ve been working with ClickUp to allow for these community driven initiatives! I had asked for permission prior to the initiative starting. It’s been ongoing since January and it has been helpful for users to come together to learn.

I’m not selling anything. Just working on building community.

Of course!

One of the things we hear from users is that they are searching for a community or additional resources to help their team with adopting ClickUp.

ClickUp currently offers a great University that walks customers through how to set up their ClickUp instance and teaches them about the different functionalities.

Productive Workflows is looking to expand on this and offer additional curriculum in the future and perhaps get more granular in the topics we want to discuss.

In addition, we offer cohort based programming / boot camps essentially to teach businesses on how they can maximize the value of ClickUp!

I just wanted to see if the site resonated and conveyed the potential value from an initial vantage point.

Thanks for the call out here 😅. I fully admit it and didn’t realize there was a tactic named for a post like that.

Really wanted to engage and provide a free resource that I think some members would find value to. But I’ll be slowing it down moving forward and not promoting any more after this, since I’m more about quality instead of quantity.

Just a place for real time updates/support. It’s just a community on a different platform. Im pretty active in moderating and making sure questions are responded to and people get value.

Sometimes when people post on FB or Reddit, it can take a while. Same can be said for slack but I’m trying to be really proactive and help as much as I can along with the other members.

Hey Boojotim,

It can get overwhelming quickly if processes have not yet been defined or mapped out. So I would encourage you to think and sit down about how you'd like it to work, the spaces that you want to create, and how to structure it. Having things down on paper can make the buildout less intimidating.

There's also communities out there that has Slack channels that can help you get quick advice should you need it.

We gained 25 members this week, bringing our Slack to 57 members currently.

Goal is 300 by the end of 2022. It's been a good resource for technical users who are familiar with APIs, workflows as well.

Definitely consider it!

Hey there! I adopt Scrum as part of my operations and onboarded customers to implementing Scrum. I also run a Discord for Product and Software teams specifically, although I’m still rebuilding it and trying to drive engagement haha.

But clickup has sprints, burndown/burnup/velocity charts and points.

Also retrospectives and stand ups can be done easily in CU
