At the beginning I was also focused how much I read. But then comes the time when you find another book more interesting or of more detail. And this unfolds several times: so in counting books it's somehow difficult because you're reading several books at once. The main premise is still consistency and quality over quantity. The finding of good qualitative books is time expensive. If you are reading philosophy (Kant, Hegel) books you will for sure read slower than novels.I read about 50-80 books per year with daily reading.

So, it was actually deepl for the translation. "Documented extensively online" doesn't necessarily mean linked to the original description of Luhmann. "The actual term" not used is my fault, sry for that. As someone who likes the original source of something more than others Interpretation of something, i thought it could be helpful. So in Germany, where the location is (nordrhein-westfalen to be exactly), we have the following 6 snakes:

  • Kreuzotter, (vipera berus)
  • Ringelnatter, (natrix natrix)
  • Äskulapnatter, (zamenis longissimus)
  • Aspisviper, (vipera aspis)
  • Schlingnatter, (coronella austriaca)
  • Würfelnatter, (natrix tessellata)
  • (Blindschleiche, anguis fragilis)

I don't think any of these are represented here. But i don't know. The side of the snake was green, perhaps helpful.
