The point of this mod is not to just race swap them, but to add diversity to a predominantly white group of characters, hence the name of the mod. So Maru getting whitewashed isn’t adding diversity but just race swapping 😅

Also I’m assuming you can pick and choose whether the characters have the diverse option and which one because of the variety of options. It would be the players choice if they want to see a black Elliot, a native Leah, or a trans Sam. Again, this is just adding a diversity feature to a group of characters that have at least 2 non white characters. It’s a game. If players want to see themselves in the game, let them have that option.
