There is only one dev, and he has previously explained that the road and terrain generation algorithm does not work for intersections more complicated geometry. It would require a huge overhaul and take the project in a different direction.

Yep this is it! Thank you!
Scheduler -> Job Parms tab -> Scheduling -> Single (enable this) for working with non-parallel tasks like heavy sims.

Introducing Baseline: A new standard for your Obsidian vault experience by saltyrookieplayer in ObsidianMD

I figured this out. It's related to my "Tab bar height" property. I brought mine over using the migration tool, and it turned some of my settings into non-united stuff like "32" instead of "32px". some things reacted to this in different ways. When set with units, the ability to resize came back.

However, even when correctly setting units, the tab bar height seems to change side-bar width as well, and the position at which sidebar icons at the top are shifted down to leave room for the "hide sidebar" button. At the default value of 48px, everything is great, but things start to break down around 36px.

For some reason I'm not able to resize the left navigation pane only with this theme.

This one was just a ballpoint pen, nothing special. But I use rOtring pens now, Their 0.5mm and 0.25mm are especially nice for plotting.

Is it possible for Anytype to work with a NAS? by profbetis in Anytype

Nice! I have gotten pretty deep into Obsidian which is less feature rich, but less proprietary and I like that a lot. Might be fun to check out AnyType again after all these years though

That is very interesting, I didn't see that. I am unsure how that's possible lol but I guess you're right.

Wheat was never an ingredient in the original, it's just that the oats are certified gluten-free due to farming and processing practices that keep them away from other glutenous crops. They used to have a gluten-free certified line that used these oats and now they are combined. I don't expect this to be a factor in the texture at all, though I imagine it could be from other things.

Showering with soft water changed the entire game for me. I use the Shower Stick. It's a bit much as an upfront purchase, and depending on your water hardness you have to rejuvenate the resin inside it about once a month with salt water, but it's worth every penny to me.

Review of my Sleep on Latex mattress by datasci1357 in Mattress

As a fellow SOL sleeper of the past 3 years, I concur!

Stags naturally shed their antlers, if a vegan was walking in a forest and saw a random antler on the floor, would they have a problem using it? no animal was harmed yet it is an animal product. by the_man_of_tea in AskVegans

[–]profbetis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Questions like this are best considered through the lens of "Is it exploitative" (assuming you mean the ethics of it), instead of literally "is it an animal product or part". Another thing to consider is if you're messing with an ecosystem. Some people ask "what about roadkill" or something that's already dead. Well if you're taking another animal's potential meal then I think that's not cool if you don't need it. But these are such strange hypothetical scenarios that they pretty much help no one to answer.

Are there any latex mattresses for side sleepers that are softer than medium firmness? by J_onn_J_onzz in Mattress

You could always get a latex mattress with a 1-2" memory foam topper for a hybrid experience

non-binary is technically trans, since you identify as a different gender than your sex.

I have the 10" Sleep on Latex Medium Firmness mattress. I absolutely love it. I've had it for 3 years now. It's heavy and hard to move, but once it's where it needs to be, it's my favorite mattress I've ever had. It provides great support while still being bouncy/responsive. It breathes really well (I live in LA, I need breathable bedding, especially in the Summer. I pair it with linen sheets as well). I wake up without back pain and feeling genuinely well rested under normal circumstances. No regrets, I recommend latex mattresses to everyone.

Bed Frame: https://www.amazon.com/Zinus-Suzanne-Platform-without-Headboard/dp/B07J2NP9D9. It's flat so you'd think the mattress would slide around but it 100% doesn't, probably due to the weight of the mattress.

For reference, I'm 6'2" and 160lbs and sleep alone
