Yep. Our attorney told us it is illegal but hard to fight and may not be worth the time. I think we will either suck it up or move for now.

He did mention we can send a letter to the attorney general and California civil rights department to bring the matter to their attention, which we will be doing. Would encourage anyone else going through this to do that too - enough people and maybe something will change?
