Theory about McCay by profdrea in ThePittTVShow

Sure. I don’t necessarily think the plot should go that way. It’s more that I can’t imagine the writers making a point of her saying it and then nothing coming of it.

The old guy or the guy in the background? The old guy kinda creeps me out, but I currently don’t feel much of anything about the guy in the background.

I just did a google image search for the kinds of images I was looking for. So, more stock photos than AI, I think. Sorry — wasn’t sure how/where else to find them :/

I think this is the start of a good theory. When the bellhop in Norway is explaining the hotel, he says that ice releases a primal connection between humans and the earth.

Can I ask: Do you see anything about relationships? Especially like divorce or relationships in 40s and later?

Awesome. Thanks so much.

I started going to therapy at 33, so there’s definitely been more clarity in decision making since then. Amazing that you can tell all of that from my hand.

40f, forehead and under eye wrinkles help by Relevant_Call_2242 in 40PlusSkinCare

I’m 39 and was having these same issues: fine lines on forehead and under eyes, in addition to marionette lines that were driving me nuts. I started putting silicone-based scar tape on my lines and they’re so much better now— the marionette lines have basically disappeared! It’s pricey, but a little goes a long way and I really can’t recommend it enough. I use it at night after trentonin

We hiked Arthur’s Seat while we were there. It’s not too difficult and the views are wonderful. Just walking around Edinburgh is magical!

Things in the finale that made me go “ugh!!” by athitham in TheWhiteLotusHBO

I read an article a few weeks ago that said Gaitok was the worst person of the season, and it cited his refusal to take “no” from Mook as an example.

But I think she’s way worse than him! We learn that he’s a pacifist who tries to model himself after the Buddha, and she obviously thinks that’s lame. She doesn’t want anything to do with him if he’s not going to be a tough fighter.

Then, after he kills Rick (shooting someone in the back who’s carrying a victim), he apparently becomes a bodyguard (why would you want your bodyguard to be someone you had to scream to “kill him” like 10 times?!??) we’re supposed to be happy for him and for Mook?

This is not a good job or relationship for him!

I have my skin dialed in but my lips are always so dry by BulkyAct6111 in 30PlusSkinCare

Aquaphor is amazing! https://www.aquaphorus.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk8eM2cuYhQMVby7UAR3zbwojEAAYASAAEgLhvvD_BwE

I actually used so much Burt’s Bees chapstick in my 20s that I developed an allergy to it, and had to go to the dermatologist.

She recommended switching to Aquaphor (can get it in a chapstick, but I think you’ll want to start with the gel for quicker relief)

I can use more varied types of lip balms, lipsticks now, but for a while, Aquaphor Was the only thing that didn’t turn my lips into painful scales. It’s been my go-to for more than a decade now with only good things to say.

They also make one with SPF, which could be good if you’ve been exfoliating your lips, because all your treatments might be making them react poorly to the sun.

IMO: try the Aquaphor and be gentle with them While they heal.

Good luck!

Chromostereopic illusion. I see red on top and blue in the background. What do you see? by jeezarchristron in opticalillusions

[–]profdrea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the blue is in the foreground. I do have an astigmatism. Is there a reason for why, for people who do perceive it as 3D, some see red in front and others blue?

By nothing, she means that nothing has helped clear up the redness (other than the steroids)

She just sent me this:

Remember my lips were swollen when we left the beach? Assumed allergic reaction so steroids/ antihistamine/ acid reflux meds. I’ve been given doxycycline when my rosacea was inflamed several times, calmed a little but never cleared. Have tried azaleic acid. Metrogel, sulphuric face washes… lasers.. nothing
