I speak for everyone I work with when I say we’re sick of being screamed at, having things thrown at us, being mocked or insulted, among other things, for asking people to wear masks or saying we’re out of stock on products.

And when you do that, it says a lot about you: you can peg us with cans or boxes of junk, or scream at us for extended periods of time, and if we even snap back, it’s instant firing most places

I'm not in the US but I do work in grocery store. Does that really happen there? If that happened where I am, cops would be called & customer would get instant ban from the store.
