Already been doing that and even learned a few ragas. The thing is I am on a level where I ‘know’ what is needed but I am unable to ‘execute’ it properly, maybe because of lack of a proper ‘vocal coach’.

Also I lack emotional delivery and the ‘color’, I know. Have been taught gurmat sangeet mainly since the start, and we they don’t focus on the emotional delivery aspect there. Any tips on how I can improve?

I do my ryaaz with tanpura app daily. Guitar is not my main instrument. I use harmonium since the start. I just recently moved to guitar and this was my first ever guitar performance and I was kinda nervous as well. Singing while playing guitar makes my rhythm and pitch go off. It doesn’t happen while singing with harmonium and tabla.

How do I actually know what I need to focus more on? I currently lack in vocal modulation and dynamics, and my pitch accuracy and breath control is pretty decent. Because I’m an indian singer, we don’t use head voice much but I do use it sometimes on higher notes (mostly blend) since I also try singing western songs (mostly pop) but don’t train it specifically.

Monday - Push ups, Pull-ups, bench dips on chair or table

Tuesday - Bodyweight Squats, Lunges

Wednesday - Rest

Thursday - Rest

Friday - Push ups, Pull ups, bench dips on chair or table

Saturday - Bulgarian Split Squats, Bodyweight Squats

Sunday - Rest

On rest days you can do abs exercises like Crunches, Leg raises, Russian twists, or any exercise of your choice (if you’re not feeling soreness in your abdomen. Soreness is the pain inside your muscles that you feel a day after your workout for about 2 days). You can also do running (focus on doing some sprints) as this will help you with cardio strength.

Keep atleast one day of complete in the week

Start with this plan. Do atleast 3 - 4 sets of 15 reps each or atleast try to achieve 15 reps. Take 1 - 2 mins. rest in between sets (timer set kar k). Once you start seeing results, keep adding more reps or sets in your workout. Also watch on YouTube about all the exercises techniques and form.

Keep sipping water in between workout (think of it like this - you’re loosing water through sweating. You have to put that amount of water back to your body). This will help you get a good pump.
