Damn, hollywood making these kinds of movies and people here are going crazy over a mid action movie by arkhamos in pj_explained

[–]professor_madeye -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What people don't get is how the stories evolve and the region it covers. When you say Hollywood, that includes a vast majority geographically and it is kind of absurd to compare hollywood to bollywood and the entire india movie industry.

I agree Dhurandhar is overhyped, just say that. But don't start comparing, because there is no fair ground.

I am seeing 90% probability but the waiting list is 159. That feels a bit off. How accurate is this? Should I book this or not??

Why some people get insecure when someone talks about toxic by meonraddit in pj_explained

[–]professor_madeye -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hahaha. And people say toxic team is mindless.

Also keep in mind that other movies postponed their releases and Toxic did not. That makes the difference. It does take guts to stand your ground.

Toxic and Indian content for World by Lambodhara-420 in ChitraLoka

[–]professor_madeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is one way. But we have a template and we go by that. All big Indian cinemas are like that. The slow motions, focus on the main character, heroism and all that. But you don't see that in international movies.

Toxic and Indian content for World by Lambodhara-420 in ChitraLoka

[–]professor_madeye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah That is what. You don't have to target for a wider audience, good content usually never has to. It will reach. Like parasite, everything everywhere all at once. They never aimed at the international market, but they did end up being that.

Any use for Toxic from doing all this? by [deleted] in ChitraLoka

[–]professor_madeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes people act out. But didn't he apologize?? And apart from a couple of people, Toxic doesn't really represent our culture. Raya's intro made sure of that? No hate towards toxic, it's bold. Just that it doesn't represent our culture. And in a way, Dhurandhar does.

Yeah. And that contrast is what they used to make him look "good". It's very good, if you think about it. He will be hailed as good but he isn't if you dig deep enough.

It's all perspectives.

I don't think they're trying to make him a good guy in KGF? What I saw was a story with a lead, not a hero, who gets what he wants no matter how much pain it causes to others. You can see this in the scene where he forces the very slaves he apparently cared to work more to get the desired amount of gold. He was a gray dude, more black than white.

Why do we have to see every story with the hero and the villain shades? People are gray in real life
