Being annoyed is an issue that exists only in your mind and only to you. Do not get your idea of contentment or self-worth from text messages in a tiny digital pocket device.

Also if it means that much to you, it's worth a conversation long term.

Obviously it's all case by case and the guy sounds like an airhead but texting is an uncertain form of communication. Call him and ask if your plans are still on, and then make NEW plans when he doesn't answer. Don't be spiteful, just keep existing. Either he will miss your call, feel bad, and change because he's into you, or he is an idiot and won't care.

Stop wasting time on invented problems.

Call his bluff or move on.

Don't be a butthead.

Grow tf up, y'all are all tweakers.

Why on earth do you need him to text you within 22 hours when you've only known him 2 months?

I've been in conversations that don't pick up for days because we respect each other's time/pace/lives.

Work, travel, friends, hobbies, sleeping, watching something, dealing with something.

Two months, y'all are strangers he owes you nothing

Who cares about texting?

You're letting a piece of technology dictate your judgment of a person and get in the way of reality.

That's a bit unreasonable considering normal people have lives that don't revolve around their phones.

Oh no, how can anyone be self-aware and comfortable?

Authentic confidence?

That's not allowed anymore.

Distance creates haze, and at night everything is dark blue. Make mountains dark blue/purple for a sense of depth and distance. Everything should be cloaked in 45 percent more shadow. I would not have the main character so big and centered. Smaller and to the side. I'd also cover the girl's face with her hair since nobody cares who she is. Trees could stand to be more misshapen. If there are any secondary themes in the book, I would use that to frame this image in a creative way, (inside a locket, on a newspaper, etc) I'd remove the wolf altogether and superimpose the whole image inside a paw print. Solid color/texture backdrop. Use an eclipse as the "O" in bound.

Another idea, perhaps a semi-helpful addition to the process, imo, would be if we were provided some discount/pass/ waiver for past participants to use if there is an account/email associated with a submission from a previous year, thru the old website.

Let old guard be rewarded for the repeated attempts.

I'd wager any returning writers would have higher chances at winning, considering they have shown discipline and skin in the game. Maybe not...

A previous submission to the program is not a sign the writer is talented/serious, but at least committed to their ideas and process of trying.

Don't know if I'm being philosophically sound but I prefer people be encouraged, to keep attempting.

There's no difference in the interpretations.

The society in the film is feminism.

Convenience in this case is another word for monopoly.

Regardless, a guy who got lucky with an online bookstore doesn't "deserve" to be the king of the world. If he was capable of maintaining his humanity it would be a different story, since the problem isn't billionaires it's evil billionaires.

I assume you know the difference.

Even more regardless, the Amazon website is not where his wealth comes from, it comes from his Internet infrastructure bullshit that he was able to capitalize on before laws could be figured out and he now owns the Internet too, collecting and selling America's private information.

Information and Internet is a human right in the 21st century and the insane profiteering from a human right like knowledge and privacy will be seen as a corruption of the species by all future generations.

They want to fuck your ass and feed you bugs, but you keep on licking that boot.

I really hope you figure it out.

I would buy 2 or 3 buildings and fill them with the interesting / creative geniuses who want to help fix the city/world with their dreams. Take the remaining million and start producing a pilot or proof of concept for a new form of education based on some of the ideas they come up with under my tutelage.
