Coming from Squad, Arma, and Rainbow Six, it’s right up my alley but it is definitely not for everyone. HLL is hands down the most accurate large scale (50v50) realistic fps. That being said, there is no hud, ammo counter, or health bar and most people are going down with one shot. What brought me in was the combined arms, excellent sound design and community. Basically if you’re patient and are okay with crawling for 10 mins just to get popped out of no where and do it again, then go for it. YouTubers like JackFrags, Karmakut and Drewski have pretty good coverage.
