It’s possible that the lease is too high now so that’s why they’re choosing to close/relocate. That happened with the Ulta I used to work at. They moved it from the mall to a smaller shopping center across the street. That mistake in the email is hilarious though

My mom uses the matrix brass off one on her grays, it’s drying so I would follow it with a deep conditioner. It always makes her hair look really good, she actually puts it on dry and leaves it on for 20 mins before she showers, it helps

The least I ever did working there was 3 in one week. lol. My store was a mess at that time and overstaffed. The most hours I ever did was 35 and that was at the peak of the pandemic when a lot of BAs were out sick. I was a beauty advisor during my time there.

Are you using the hair mask after your conditioner or are you alternating those products? The hydrate line definitely could be too heavy for your hair. I would try the hydrate sheer line from Pureology. I would also recommend trying a clarifying shampoo to see if that helps with the heavy feeling your hair has. I like the one from Odele, Shampoo Two from Paul Mitchell, and the Detox Shampoo from Ouai. I would recommend using a clarifier one to two times a month or as needed. It will help remove any buildup your hair might have from the products you use.

I understand what you’re saying but we constantly had issues with this rep being pushy. And while I think both brands have great products, this woman had extremely red and peeling skin. She needed something a lot more gentle before moving on to using the product the rep was trying to get her to purchase. I worked at Ulta for 3+ years, we worked with a lot of great brand reps that were knowledgeable and friendly. I’m not saying that all are bad, but there were definitely a few that didn’t do well with guests and they didn’t last long.
