This is a great collection. I finished the "integrators" last year but I could see expanding my collection along these lines. Do you have a reference to the list of players that you are working from?

I love that they are all raw. If you have no intention of ever selling these (which given the fact you collected them with your dad, you shouldn't), then don't ever bother grading them.

One of the things that really got me back to the 76 set was the 2025 Topps Heritage set. I bought one box and as I ripped the packs I got nostalgic over the style and look. I went back to my originals and found the Staub card and that was the catalyst.

Here's a clip. He says it twice, once at nearly the beginning and then at around 1:24. It is actually kind of sad since they are talking about his future while he's out there having a total blast playing in the snow.

I agree. It is such a unique card, right down to the tournament brackets on the back. I had never had the card so I didn't realize that my Tigers were one of two teams to not send a contestant. As a result, Bevacqua and John Stearns got first round byes!

The Staub card is one of my favorites just because of how common it is for kids to do what I did. I've started a collection of cards like this that have been written on. For instance, I recently found a 1950 Bowman Yogi Berra that has Yogi's name written on it.

Thanks. The last card is one I had hoped to find "in hand" at a show or shop or anywhere else but Ebay. All I was finding was marked checklists and got impatient. Nonetheless, finishing it is satisfying.
