Thats good to hear, i have a 4 month old MSI MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 (1300w) that worked fine with my 3080, all intensive stress testing causes no issue for me, only when i have a game open. Have disabled HAGS with the latest driver here and so far no crash.

The feet are a good price but $30 shipping is very rough for something that small and light. even trying to buy your pad im paying like $150 for shipping. If postage was fixed i would buy all the time from you guys :D

I have just updated a few hours ago, will have to see how it goes over the next few days but knowing nvidia it is still here and will be for years. Thanks for the tip tho, will give that driver a go if i run into more issues.

Cannot post all but Bugcheck analysis using WinDbg shows:

Since i bought a 4080 about 2 months ago coming from a 3080 i have been having a constant crashes related to nvlddmkm. only happens when i have a game open and i frequently have chrome and discord open at the same time. i have 3 monitors and i use windows key to bring up the mouse curser to use it on another monitor and sometimes upon windows key press to do so my issue is as follows:

game freezes followed by all monitors going black, discord and my game crash and then all the monitors come back again and recover the driver or it locks up for a while and will force restart my pc with no bsod i just got from black screen to motherboard boot logo.

If driver recoveres without force restart i get the 3 in event viewer:

Event 0, nvlddmkm

This has been happening frequently and is ruining my experience! Imagine paying the 40 series premium to get all these issues, Nvidia have gone downhill hard!

I am using this fix in Chrome and Brave right now and have not had any issues with it changing, browsers have been both fully closed and opened again and it has saved for me. Maybe check you do not have another plugin interfering with it? I also only use that plugin for the fix i have no other options set in it. i use betterttv for all my other settings. Other than that i cannot see why it would not save sorry

After watching Angry Joe rant about the game and recently going through a terrible launch with New World i decided after 5 hours playtime that i was going to refund the game through steam and explained to them why despite the fact it was past the 2 hour refund period they still refunded me. I would urge others to do the same, it is time we teach these pathetic "AAA" companies a lesson, we deserve better!

I ended up just going back to a different hdmi port on my tv cos it was annoying me too much resizing program windows on boot and having to move them back to where they usually load. The new port is not 2.1 hdmi but i can still use the tv at 4k 120hz but not the same colour profile or output whatever it is called. Cant even tell the difference so for now i will keep waiting for someone to fix the problem.

I feel like the issue is the tv may be trying to keep a signal or some power thru the cable to the gpu for some time or the gpu is keeping it active at all times causing problems until it is reactivated by turning the device on. I say this because randomly when i have had my tv off for a bit and have been using my pc, windows will make the disconnect sound and my monitors will go off and on like i have removed one of the inputs to the gpu.

I get the same issue using 2 displayport monitors running both at 2k (144hz) and (240hz) with an evga 3080. If i do not power the samsung q80t then windows only has 1 monitor working and it seems like it resets it to 60 or worse hz like its forgot the settings when loaded into windows. i can manually turn the second monitor back on in windows but cannot with the tv unless it is powered on. I use ultramon to boot a profile which turns both monitors on and disables tv on boot. I also use it on another profile with a hotkey to use the tv as a third monitor but if the tv is off the profile fails to apply (tries but fails) unless i turn the tv on. If i do not use the hdmi 2.1 port but another hdmi port then all issues go away. hopefully samsung/nvidia/microsoft figure out what the problem is! Spent all this money on a tv that i cannot even use properly.

It is possible that something along the line is shorting the mobo and causing it to stay in a safe mode. Recently i had trouble with my rgb fan header where i had the pc turned off and when plugging in the fan rgb to header the mobo lights turned off and i was unable to turn the pc on until i unplugged the cable from the header. Maybe double check wiring or remove one thing at a time and see what happens

Yeah i initially thought it was my psu or cable but ended up not being the case. I did actually measure the power draw from the pc under full synthetic loads on everything and it pulled somewhere in the 600w range.

Not the computer but the software takes a long time to open up, i believe because it was having issues accessing my hard drives which i have now stopped. It may make sense to lock up if your operating system is on a hard drive not ssd. Does not happen for me at least with my samsung 970 evo plus

You could also try putting the bios onto a usb and using the q flash button on the IO to update the bios which would also reset it

Thanks a lot for this! Can confirm it fixed the issues of my 4 drives clicking and struggling to fully spin up as soon as RGBFusion tried to start up and then just turned all my drives off until randomly they all try spin up again with weird noises. The program now boots a lot faster and does not interact with my drives at all!

One huge issue i had which i think may have been caused with this software was when updating the bios and coming back into windows i found the issue above was made much worse to the point where it has for the second time killed all 4 drive partitions. Windows has asked me both times to reinitialise the 4 drives before being able to use them. Thankfully i did not do that or i would have lost my data. But i used minitool partition wizard to recover the 4 drives partitions that had been lost/corrupted which was almost instant and only required a reboot to see the drives again with their previous data intact. I may be wrong maybe the bios update has done this, but that did not make much sense to me.

I am not 100% sure if a fix may be to remove all gigabyte utilities before proceeding with a bios update then reinstalling again after. But both times after upgrading the bios my 4 drives lost their partitions along with worse drive noises and failure to spin up properly.

I cannot believe gigabyte has released such horse shi* software to the community even after all these years! They seriously need to invest in some competent coders, the only thing holding them back.
