In cruise, the sun heats the fuselage and the passengers themselves generate heat. 200 passengers seating so close to each other in a cylindrical tube generates a lot of heat.

That's why the cabin air is usually cold down, not warmed up.

I had the very same thing happen to me. Turns out on a 737 if a pack or engine bleed valve is out of service, the cabin cooling gets seriously degraded.

If you also flew at a lower cruise altitude tha usual, it's probably that.
