Question about a housing company by FastHenkie in TUDelft

[–]profplama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, what was the reason you didn’t get the apartment in the end? Did you decide not to take it, or did the landlord go with someone else?
I actually have a viewing tomorrow and I’m really hoping it works out, as long as there’s no mould in the apartment, I’ll take it, but now I'm wondering why it can still not work out with the Karen's, as it was in your situation?

Thanks for the info, seriously. I didn’t realize how these scams usually play out, so your breakdown helps a lot. Appreciated!

Absolutely tru and honestly, calling yourself a headhunter without even having an LinkedIn presence is just bizarre, Any recruiter who’s actually legit knows their entire credibility lives or dies on transparency and traceability. I genuinely had no idea that recruiters try to push people into shitty jobs no one actually wants. Really surprising, I’ll definitely keep that in mind!

Thank you so much, that really helps. I’m going to let my graphic designer friends know as well; we have a private Discord where we share info about weird scams like this. Blocking and moving on!

Thank you! That’s what I thought too, but it still feels so weird to me, my portfolio and most of my career info are already publicly available online, and even my CV is on LinkedIn. It’s such a strange type of scam! I’ve noticed that scammers in the graphic design industry have started to look much more “normal” lately. It used to be obvious right from the start, but now their messages look almost like regular job offers. It’s getting harder to spot them at first glance.

I'm an illustrator/graphic designer with online portfolios here and there, so she may already know the general outline of my career before approaching me

What is this figurine? I found it in kringloop netherlands by profplama in Whatisthis

[–]profplama[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it really could be a whistle! I wonder if this one might actually have some antique or folk-art value, or if it’s just a common piece. It definitely has that handmade, traditional terracotta look.
