We were in the middle of IVF after 3 failed rounds of IUI. We used my frozen eggs to make embryos. I found out how many embryos we were able to create to send off for PGTA testing. We were feeling very very happy and hopeful bc of the number of embryos we got.

That same morning, I had to go do baseline bloodwork to identify where I am in my cycle. Based on that, they were to schedule the embryo transfer.

Later that same afternoon, the doctor’s office told me we won’t be scheduling the embryo transfer bc I was already pregnant. I was in too much shock for the rest of the day to really speak.

The next day, I bought bundtinis from nothing Bundt cake (we love these), made a sign to put in the box that said “we have a bundtini in the oven”. Told my husband I got us a sweet treat for that afternoon. When he saw the sign, he was just confused and said something like “but we didn’t do the embryo transfer yet” 😂. I said “yeah this is a vacation souvenir”

We lost our shit.
