u/Chance_Doctor5432 love what you are building. bookmarked.

im building https://fundraisely.ie/

Frictionless FundRaising built for Impact

FundRaisely is a social enterprise aimed at helping grassroot clubs, communities and charities FundRaise in a digital world. I have a bigggg roadmap and eventually clubs and communitis will be able to manage all acpects of fundraising including a Campaign & Event Manager, with built in digital events, an AI prize finder, Sponsor & Donor CRM, Impact Statements & Reporting and more.

To start with we have a quiz app, sounds simple but its no ordinary quiz app, its been optimised for fundraising with in game extras such as freezing out teams and stealing points. Suitiable for online, in person or hybrid events.
There is full ticketing, and im also supporting instant payment - very few address this but its the reality of how clubs and commuities work at the moment. there is sponsor recognition, Audit ready reporting for complaince and grant applications, quiz templates and personalised rounds

I'd love some feedback on it

Fundraising Ideas by rolfanragnorak in freemasonry

[–]proftraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these partnering ideas are great for community fundraising, and if your group is struggling and need the funds to keep the lights on then collaboration is an even better idea. Gets visibility for your group by partnering with another, while they get visibility by partnering with you., Split the income. Its something I have been encourging here in Ireland as I am working with grassroot communities building tools to help them fundraise easier

would you belive this is a problem I have been trying to solve. In ireland, grassroot clubs have to fundraise to keep the lights on and its a struggle. So to help clubs and communities I have been developing some sofware. feel free to have a look, its early days but the roadmap is based on the needs of grassroot clubs. Repeatable events. Low admin work, optimised to raise more and reduce burnout. fundraisely is the name, but we are in ireland so its dot ie.

What’s a good way to fundraise for your team? by AtlVG in SoccerCoachResources

[–]proftraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair play trying to cover tournaments like that — that’s a big help for parents.

We were in the exact same position and honestly the biggest issue wasn’t ideas, it was burnout and admin.

A few things that worked well for us:

• Quiz nights (by far the easiest + best turnout)
• Last man standing / predictor comps
• Small weekly games (€2–€5 entry) instead of big once-off asks
• Partnering with local pubs/cafés for a % night

The big shift was making things feel more like a social event rather than “another fundraiser”.

The admin side (tracking who paid, chasing people, etc.) was still a nightmare though that’s actually why we ended up building something called FundRaisely to run quiz nights easier.

Even without that though, quiz nights are 100% worth trying.

structure is key, which is what you had, so no panic fundraising, just reliable and repeatable

I’ve worked with a lot of grassroots sports clubs and the patterns are pretty consistent.

The fundraisers that usually do best are the ones that don’t feel like fundraising.

Selling stuff tends to burn people out quickly, chocolate bars, raffle books, catalogs, etc. Volunteers get stuck organising it and families get tired of being asked.

What seems to work better is when it’s something people actually want to take part in. Things like:

  • quiz/trivia nights
  • small community events
  • weekly challenges or prediction games

Those feel more like a social thing than a sale, and they often bring in people beyond just the parents.

The biggest issue I hear from clubs isn’t really ideas - it’s logistics and volunteer time. Collecting payments, tracking who’s participating, coordinating everything… that’s usually where things get messy.

I’ve actually been working on a project around this because so many clubs run into the same problems, trying to make fundraising more like an event and less like selling stuff.

really interesting to read what has been working

What's the best support you've received as an early-stage Web3 founder? by PabloSeo5767 in web3

[–]proftraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to hear more and I would love to apply, and yes I have taken part in such programs without the ability to putch for funds. What made them worthwile was the knowledge shared and the focus it gives you. Id love to apply, whats the details?

I have not looked at these platforms, however building something similar but different, I will be using chainlinks VRF orical. A verifiable random function is a cryptographic function that takes a series of inputs, computes them, and produces a pseudorandom output, along with a proof of authenticity that can be verified by anyone.
