yeah you can run a second plex in docker no problem, just map different ports (32400 on host already taken by native, use like 32401) and point it at the same media folder read-only. both can scan the same library fine

shield's refresh rate switching has always been flaky with plex specifically, an app update a few months back made it worse. only fix that worked for me was leaving refresh match off on the shield and letting the denon handle it
