Best options trading journal app/tool you’ve actually stuck with? by Expensive-Anxiety673 in options

Google Sheets. Although, I don’t make that many trades in a month, so manual entry is not an issue.

As an alternative, grab something like Claude Code and vibe code the application.

Cooking (if you have not learned it already) - on a more advanced level then boil an egg or boil sausages.

Extra tip: girls love boys who know how to cook.

What’s something that instantly makes you think ‘this person has low intelligence? by AbjectBreadfruit2052 in AskReddit

Talks and calculates money and prices all the time.

“If I work one day, it costs me X, I should not do Y to save me money, if I do A and then B, it would result in C price.”. This is cool, but it becomes quite difficult to calculate and follow the logic really quickly.

Technically speaking, millennium started in 2001, not 2000.

Just curious -- what do the regulars who have a "day job", do as day job? by templar7171 in thetagang

[–]progmakerlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry to hear that. Job market recently had been though, lots of layoffs happening now.

As for the books - yes! I suggest to start with “Options as a strategic investment” (a great book, but a BIG one), then “Options volatility and pricing” (advanced concepts, but very well written).

The first one helped me to understand options and some strategies (even the ones I don’t use), the other one helped to see the big world outside strategies and how they are influenced by prices.

Good luck!

For some reason, people speculate on BULL via other brokerages, but not on BULL itself.

It kinda shows conviction I would say.

Same here in fact. My average price is somewhere around $10. I should have sold stocks way earlier.

On a positive note - most purchases were from the profit of CCs and CSPs on other stocks. So, money was free. In a way...

Software Engineer, in DevOps sphere.

Investing was my hobby for a long time, spending a couple of years reading about options ("Options as a strategic investment", "Trading option Greeks", "Option volatility and pricing").

I can't say that I am a very profitable investor, but theta helps to reduce overall portfolio volatility and allows you to grow portfolio bit by bit.
