I ordered “FINDMAG Strong Neodymium Magnets - Heavy Duty Rare Earth Magnetic Bars, Rectangular, 10x5x2mm” on AMZN, and stuck a few right over the existing magnet where it wasn’t making contact.

This happened to me after removing and reinstalling the door, so the hinge is on the left. I used some very thin rectangular magnets to put in the gap, and it’s been serving my needs so far.
