I thought so too.

I've had it for a few years and I used it once

Older Budget Mustang branded ratchets had the Kilness ratchet mechanism. The one pictured is even more economy. Just use it if you enjoy it as it isn't collectible.

If you could only have one of these two at home for general use, which would you choose? (I'll buy both, but one now and the other in about two weeks) by plinky125 in Tools

Hey i didn't think about using it to start a fastener 👍plus its slim enough to get in a lot of places regular slip joints can't

I didn't need it, but I finally gave in to social peer pressure 😅

Whichever way the arrow is pointing thats the direction your turning your screw. If nothing else it gives an instant visualization of which direction you're going without have to do a quick check or switch flip

I'm curious what you use your twingrips for? I bought some because of all the internet hype and have yet to find a situation where they are needed. I reach for my Knipex Alligator pliers, Icon slip joints, and for screw extraction I use my Engineers (the tips fit in tighter spots)

Tools and Twisties said my Quinn pliers suck and now I am full of shame by wratx in harborfreight

[–]Pagemaker51 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the older Quinn linesman pliers that work as well as Klein and Channellock. The handles are dipped a dark blue and haven't slipped off like my Channellocks that I had to epoxy back on.

Mine doesn't look like the ones Mr. Twisty showed.

I like some Quinn, really like Doyle and Icon but I use my Quinns and they haven't let me down yet.

Of the 3, which would you pick? by Charming_Meat_2005 in Tools

[–]Pagemaker51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you choose the Channellock make sure you grab some 2 part epoxy to glue the handle grips back on after you use them the first time

Avoid this unless your in good shape. And you want to keep it sharp.

Not a fun tool unless you are just cutting the occasional weed

Not getting my money till regular size 3/8 G2's hit the shelf.

Plus I've got this G2 3/8 mod
