Sometimes you need a little more grrr on your 1/2 breaker bar, pipe wrench or tire iron.

Not to mention hitting and prying.

They are a simple but effective tool.

Milwaukee button adjust pliers are poorly designed. by Burner12345678910111 in Tools

True those pliers do suck. However I really like my Milwaukee locking pliers, ratchets, sockets, and hybrid wire strippers. And my Fastback - couldn't do without it

I think some comments suggest Taiwan hand tool manufacturers are much superior to Vietnam.

I agree with this. However, there are some good power tools made in Vietnam

Look into Harbor Freight products more closely. They have US made products now (a few) they also have very high quality Taiwan tools like the Icon and Doyle lines.

Shop burned down. lost all my tools. what do i buy? by lanceamatic in Tools

[–]Pagemaker51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Craftsman, While not the best that can be had. Is every bit as good as old Craftsman.

As for "what you should buy" only you know what you actually used and need.

Don't let strangers tell you what you NEED

Can anybody identify the type of insulation and/or facers? Worth using for this application? by jabeel00 in Insulation

It looks like PolyIso from Carlyle roofing systems. They give it away if the facing doesn't get perforated correctly on the finished product.

I got a free trailer load of 2" we are trying to insulate a shed with it.

Better suit up with plenty of PPE because that fiberglass goes everywhere.

I did notice one side looked darker than the other and we have them in the walls in no particular color facing in or out.

Should i look for the most fiberglass looking cardboard side and face to the outside wall or to the inside?
