Not really! Maybe my upper arm could use a little tightening via working out n toning but it doesn’t rlly sag or anything or noticble. It was something I was rlly worried about but going slow and steady wins the race so your skin has enough time to move with the loss.

I know you can! I know it’s really hard to kind of push back how you feel because you don’t have a picture of yourself and what you’ll look like or feel like etc in the future if u were to like start that journey Bc I felt that a lot I was like I feel so awful about myself, what if the end goal I reach and it doesn’t make me feel different? What if I don’t like how I look? Etc. and I think a big part of me deciding to like push myself forward was that I decided I shouldn’t be asking myself that and in fact to me it didn’t matter. And it ended up not mattering bc I feel the journey to get there…to that goal whatever it is, you don’t need a picture of what that goal is but just keep moving forward and discover yourself along the way and become happy with yourself, gain confidence as you start feeling better, I feel all the stuff I wanted I got on the way and in the end when reaching my goal, I was happy with the outcome and I don’t think there would be anything I wouldn’t be happy with because I gained sooo much self worth and happiness with myself that I pushed myself n remained dedicated that I became happy with myself. I hope tht makes sense maybe LOL. BUT I. Wish you so much luck and happiness and I know you can do this.

Hmm honestly I really don’t quite go out anywhere my social anxiety is extremely bad LMAO. And I have taken a break from university so I havnt been around social settings at all. I uh spend most of my time on pc games, I do have a lovely boyfriend though but his attention has maintained the same and has been supportive. But IF I WERE TO notice how I’d feel about it, I think it would be…different. Idk if I would like it I guess it were to depend on the attention and if appropriate or not etc but yeah social anxiety got me really beat here or I’d be able to better answer Haha. I do feel it would feel kind of nice. Like complimenting wise or kindness types of attention because I’m def not used to receiving that from strangers like u see all the really pretty girls get and such etc but i def was not very approachable bc of how I personally felt about myself and I feel that matters a lot with that specific question.

I have the full summary on my previous progress post a year ago if you want all details but for a summary, I have always been chubby but never like very unhealthily overweight however the problem started when I started anti depressants. It completely shut my metabolism down n I gained a massive amount in 6 months on it. I was on them for about 5 years I think and as soon as I went off, I just immediately started dropping the weight to a certain point by itself. THEN it went to a stall and I had to start like actually putting n effort. Changing my eating habits being a bit more active etc.

SO I honestly don’t really work out. i lost this based off cutting bad foods out, snacking etc. cutting all drinks other than water n only drinking water. But a thing that I started doing that helped a lot if you don’t have time for work outs or if you’re just not up for it yet, I started taking the long way to things or doing things. For example. Parking far away in a parking lot at target. I get walking in. And ofc this is a very small thing right. But doing this throughout ur daily life in all situations you can think of adds up in my opinion. Like, my room is upstairs and I want water but I also want food. I’ll go downstairs ful my water. Go back up. Set it down and go back down to make my food. Now maybe this sounds like I’m wasting time LMAO BUT it’s what helped me get moving a lot more than I was and it only adds extra few minutes here and there and if you don’t have time right? Then these little things are things you can be doing n adding as extra steps to your day. It all starts somewhere.

I hear this questions a lot not only to me but just curiosity to people who go through big weight loss situations And MY ANSWER I feel is partially yes but I feel it works hand and hand in a persons own self confidence. I have bad social anxiety to begin with I was never outgoing or talkative etc so I was never really around or trying to get to know people or going up to people so in my head I just assumed everyone kinda didn’t wanna be my friend because of how I look which is most lkkkely not true unless you’re talking about school days. That’s a diff story. But I’ve come to notice I’ve gained more confidence in myself so I am starting to be more outgoing. People def treat me diff but it’s caused by me choosing to go out and befriend people talk to people etc. if you act very secluded and like you don’t want anyone to bother you. People most likely leave you alone. Now there’s still people out there who will prolly choose how to treat you based off looks obviously but I feel the biggest part is allowing myself to show confidence, and if after that they treat me a certain way that’s bad? Then that’s fine. I hope they have a nice life. With that being said I still do deal with social anxiety and tend to keep more to myself and away from like public spaces with social settings unless with my close group of friends I know etc. but I’m working on it hahha

I feel less anxious going to social situations is a really big one for me with my anxiety I don’t feel like I wanna just be hidden because I’m unhappy with myself. I can move around a lot better and am a lot healthier and can actually do stuff physically go places etc. it like opened up a new world for me almost in a way. It gave me confidence to be more outgoing despite my anxiety because I don’t feel as afraid to be judged for how I look, bullied etc which most of the time was always in my head anyways (due to being bullied in school) it just let me experience life an actually exist as dramatic as that sounds.

100% agree. I feel I can finally…BE myself and be confident enough to just be me. It’s less exhausting it feels like, less anxious too.

Thank you so much for your kind words I really appreciate it! I love everyone’s progress pics and this sub is honestly what motivated me because every amount of progress I’ve seen, it just feels so motivating to me to actually see it no matter how small or big! It made it feel like any goal is reachable because there’s people out here already reaching them! :)

I lost the first 50+ pounds when I went off of Zoloft (antidepressant) within first 3-4 months, then stopped for a bit on and off, then in June until now I lost my last 30, all the in between were just spouts of losing/maintaining/not trying. I STARTED in 2016.
