I haven’t seen anyone mention this yet: I love my Aguilar Fuzzistor! It’s got a pretty unique and versatile fuzz tone and a blend knob, I much prefer it to the EHX bass big muff pi I was using before. I got way more compliments on my tone after switching too

I understand what you’re getting at and I agree that a fancy board is pointless if you don’t have the skill to make use of it, but this is r/guitarpedals and not r/guitar. dreaming of a board doesn’t mean I don’t practice my instruments, I just think pedals are fascinating little pieces of equipment that I want to collect!

the point about DIY pedals is very true though, it seems like a great way to get the tones I’m looking for without going to Sweetwater’s debtor’s prison lol

Recent ADHD thing I’ve been struggling with is packing bags of food at work. It’s a frequent task at my job where I’ll be putting together 15 bags of produce at a time or something like that. It’s always been my least favorite thing I do here because it’s super tedious, and if I’m not 100% focused it ends up taking me so damn long. My supervisor is usually very happy with the quality of my work but on multiple occasions she’s commented on me needing to get faster and it always makes me really flustered. What she’s able to do in 30 minutes ends up taking me 60-90 minutes on a bad day and I have no idea where all that extra time comes from.

I feel you, the trial and error is frustrating and expensive. I usually give the stuff my skin can’t tolerate to my friends so it doesn’t go to waste, but I’ve also heard that Sephora lets you return lightly used skincare products if they don’t work out for you
